  • Identification: Government-issued ID

  • Gear: Paddle craft, paddle, leash, and a PFD (if required for your specific race)

  • Personal Care: Hydration and appropriate race clothing

Is parking available?

Yes. Parking is available at Doheny State Beach and nearby public parking areas.

  • Tip: You can pre-pay for parking directly on our website.

  • Note: Please arrive early, as parking spaces are limited and fill up quickly.

Our official host hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn Dana Point Doheny Beach.

What takes place at the host hotel?

The host hotel will serve as our main event hub for:

Is the event free to watch?

Yes. Spectators are welcome throughout the day free of charge. Come out and enjoy:

  • Beach viewing of the races

  • The Vendor Village and sponsor exhibits

  • Local food vendors

  • The "Killer Dana" Awards Ceremony

Can my family attend?

Absolutely. The Doheny Paddle Fest is designed as a family-friendly community event.

How can I become a sponsor?

Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, including Title, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Community tiers. Please visit our dedicated Sponsorship page or contact the event team for more information.

Can my business become a vendor?

Yes. Vendor spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the event team directly to request a vendor application.

Event Policies:

What is the refund policy?

All registrations are non-refundable. Registrations may only be transferred if approved by the race director prior to the registration deadline.

​

What happens if weather affects the event?

Participant safety is our highest priority. Race officials reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel events due to hazardous ocean or weather conditions. In the event of a weather-related modification or cancellation, all registrations remain non-refundable.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are permitted only in designated areas of Doheny State Beach, in accordance with California State Park regulations. Please keep your pets leashed at all times and clean up after them.

​

Will food be available?

Yes. Food will be available on-site, and food options will be featured during the "Killer Dana" Awards After-Party.
